RANDY CRAWFORD
President

Randy is a former military intelligence instructor upon leaving the military, started working in the Telecommunications Field. With experience as Regional Sales Managers, Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales and the President of multiple corporations. Randy possesses outstanding technical abilities having filed his own patent application for Railroad Tunnel Communications Products. He received a BBA from Baker University. Randy is a Service Connected Disabled Veteran who understands business needs from simple to very complex. He has put together a world class team to work with regardless of the project size.

 

KURT BATTLES

Director of Technology

 

Kurt oversees all network and facility design related projects. At his previous engagement with FPL/FiberNet Kurt designed and oversaw construction of a state of the art environmentally hardened $1.4M mission critical Network Operations Center and Technology Lab. These facilities manage and test all telecommunications and data traffic on FiberNet’s $350M optical network. Kurt’s experience includes implementing critical systems including FM-200 fire suppression systems, uninterruptible power supplies, centrally monitored security systems and redundant voice/data connectivity. Experienced in data/transport networking environments including TCP/IP,

SONET, Frame Relay, ATM and Highly Available UNIX platforms.  Kurt was also instrumental in designing and engineering a $120M test lab for Sprint’s ION network and deployment in major data centers and central offices.  Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University in Telecommunications Management.  

MIKE HODES
SDVOB GSA Contract Sales

Mike has over 17 years experience in the furniture industry.  He has extensive experience on the manufacturing and distribution side – including running a contract dealership for 7 years.  His customer base included federal, state and local municipalities, as well as healthcare and commercial accounts. Mike has worked with a team of account managers, design, project managers, sales support and delivery and install personnel.  His goal has been to make sure that the customer has the best possible experience in working with Aegis.

GAROLD SOKOLENKO
Director of Marketing and Business Development

Garold  is involved at many levels with responsibilities ranging from direct interface with customers on projects to company operations. Due to his extensive experience in implementing technology solutions for businesses, Garold’s perspective serves as an asset to customers in the implementation of complex projects requiring seamless integration of both technology and office furniture. Garold is committed to providing the best of both worlds to meet clients’ unique business needs.  Prior to his work at Aegis, Garold served as the Director of IT at Coach USA (division on Stage Coach of Scotland), where he was involved in large scale  projects throughout the United States and Europe.

JOHN PAULEY, P.E.
Facilities and Relocation Manager

As a Registered Professional Engineer in Kansas and Missouri, John started and operated FSI, a Kansas City firm that was engaged in property and facility management for 500,000 square feet of office space and has provided facility development services for companies including Dairy Farmers of America and Farmland Industries, Inc.  The scope of work for these projects included site selection, conceptual planning, net present value comparisons, economic incentive estimates, construction management and implementation of relocation plans. John’s engineering emphasis is mechanical and electrical design with a BS in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University in 1985. FSI had relocated 2,700 employees since its inception in 2001 for clients including ADM, Farmland, IRS and Cap Gemini Ernst and Young.

SAM SHELHORN
Director Furniture Sales

Sam has been involved in the business furniture industry since the early 1990's as a regional sales manager for a manufacturer, then as a VP of sales at a Knoll dealership and as an owner of a furniture dealership.  He has extensive experience in doing business with the government having been part of multi-million dollar furniture projects for the EPA, DHS, PBS, FAS and DFAS to name a few.
